Atoms cannot be divided using chemicals. They do consist of parts, which include protons, neutrons, and electrons, but an atom is a basic chemical building block of matter.

Elements are made from only one type of atom. A compound is make from a combination of elements.

Chemistry is cool this is a subject where we can get hands on with different chemicals and see the reaction they cause. See what chemicals work together and which ones dont this is going to be an awasome topic to learn in science this year.

On our first science lesson for the term, Miss Cracknell performed an experiment to show us how different metals reacted to extreme heat. Filings usually react very quickly but dense or chunky bits of metal took a while to burn. filings would spark where as chunky bits of metal would burn bright and stay put.
