Oh forgot extra rules well....
You can not run in the lab.
You have to have permission to do experiments.
Your not allowed to taste any substance unless told otherwise.
You can't smell any substances unless told otherwise.
And you can't eat while in the laboratory.

to tell the teacher if anything breaks
not to touch anything hot
not to smell or taste anything unless you have been told to

Science is heaps of fun because we get to to use gas and stuff, we also get to use Bunsen burners. It's also great because you learn a lot while you are having fun.

5 things I have learned in science is that ...

1. Alwyas where a lab coat and goggles when you are doing an experiment.

2. Do not run

3. You have to tell the teacher if you brake something.

4. Never reach across a Bunsen Burner because it is dangerous and you might get burnt.

5. You have to have permission from the teacher to experiment things.

I have also learnt that when you are using a Bunsen Burner you have to have a heat proof mat. The reason why is that it protects the benches from getting damaged. Also, a stirring rod is used to stir mixtures and a Tripod supports a gauze mat

You need a heat-proof mat to protect the benches for heat damage.
You also need a Gauze mat, a tripod
and a Stirring rod to stir liquids
on the Bunsen Burner.
